We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in North Carolina that is dedicated to the research and investigation of haunting and ghost phenomena, the collection of data related to these events and sharing of information. Since 1992, we have worked to observe, record and study ghosts and hauntings looking for all possibilities in an accepted scientifically oriented method. We are looking for the preponderance of evidence. Because these events happen "in the field" rather than in a laboratory or other controlled location, we feel it is even more important to use great care and sound methods. We continue to develop theories, test and re-test them, and collect data in an objective manner.

HNC boards the USS NC!

October 25, 2008 saw 1,300 people turn out for the "Ghost Ship" event on the Battleship North Carolina. Haunted North Carolina was proud to be part of the tour and tell tales of the many paranormal events that we have experienced on the haunted ship.
